SEBP were born in Mantova, Italy on February 2001. First of all, an improvisation group". show number one: saturday afternoon from 3pm to 8pm in a clothing store center a 5 hours jam. <br><br> A well done experiment because they continue the live activity without any clue of what they were gonna play, neither trials or sketches for the songs. <br><br> After about a year and few "improvised dates", the SEBP spontaneously started to create structured songs that an insider would have called "indie-R'n'R tasted snogs". A new challenge. <br><br> After a few months they recorded a 5 songs demo called "The double Party of the widow". The routine is always the same: particpations to different festivals and local contests (first price at the "No Cover" in San Benedetto Po - MN). <br><br> In September 2002 they stroke with an opening act for One Dimensional Man. The relationship between SEBP and ODM goes on during the next year, while started recording the new album: produced by ODM's Giulio Favero who, in the meantime, decided to leave ODM. Here you are "The Swindler": an album made of "love and hate, between politics and personal relationships". Delivered with the urgence of a prisoner. <br><br> Great will to play, to make concerts, to strike. Mad, emotional. <br><br> <br><br>

Adeptes de « Riot Gigs » inoubliables dans des cuisines ou campés dans la foule lors d’évènements musicaux grand-public, les flibustiers de Sport Doen pratiquent un mélange détonnant de punk et de rock-garage 70's pur jus. Avec des influences allant des Ramones au MC5 en passant par les Sex Pistols ou bien entendu les Clash (dont ils reprennent "White Riot" en concert) le groupe prend toute sa dimension sur scène au milieu des amplis vrombissants et du fracas sonique. Attention! S’ils débarquent chez vous, sauvez vos guéridons ! Sport Doen ça joue fort, Sport Doen ça joue vite. Bref, c'est du foutu rock'n'roll. Sport Doen c'est bientôt chez vous. Et c'est bien fait pour vous !

Maintenant sombre. Nouveau line-up mais toujours aussi nerveux. Basse Cold wave. Chant Grave. Guitares New-wave et Synthétiseur analogique.   Une rupture musicale née en miroir d’un monde qui se fracture et se cherche. Ecartelé entre nostalgie d’un passé rassurant et volonté de renaissance, à l’instar du nouveau line-up qui propose des compositions plus introspectives aux atmosphères sombres et envoûtantes en tension avec les rythmiques et les claviers distillant des mélodies entêtantes plus lumineuses. Une rupture et un renouveau musical exaltant une cold-wave futuriste qui invite à danser dans le clair-obscur du moment présent !

2021. L’album « Rupture » autoproduit a été enregistré au studio Dada à Bruxelles par Guy Tournay.
