ARTISTS & PROGRAMMING
Let It Kill You draws its roots from grunge, noise-rock, punk, and metal, with influences like METZ, Drive Like Jehu, System of a Down, and Nirvana. The trio unleashes a whirlwind of pain and energy that nothing can stop. On guitar, Diego, the king of the rats, blazes a powerful and razor-sharp trail, guiding Dorian, a drummer as unpredictable as a stray dog unleashed into the fray, as best he can. After years of hard work as a duo, Tom immediately finds an essential place in this already unlikely band. Don't let his roaring teddy bear looks fool you; his bass playing will make your skin, bones, and everything in between tremble.
In no time at all, the wild beasts arrive near your home in a Fiat Panda. Beware of this carnivorous trio who won't leave a single crumb of your leftovers!
Originally emerging from the DIY hardcore scene, Coilguns have since forged their own blend of furious punk and ecstatic noise-rock. The band's history is closely linked to the development of guitarist Jona Nido's label – Hummus Records – which now boasts up to 130 releases from Swiss artists spanning all sonic landscapes.
Although their last two albums were entirely self-produced, recorded and mixed by the band members, Coilguns traveled last summer to Oceansound Recordings studios in Norway, at the ends of the earth, to record their fourth album “Odd Love” with producer Scott Evans.
The group is renowned for its raw, uncompromising and euphoric live performances, proudly serving fans of frenetic dancing and crowdsurfing enthusiasts.
