Peter and The Test Tube Babies formed near Brighton in 1978, a year after the punk explosion that would permanently change the musical landscape. Since then, this quartet has specialized in wacky songs with absurd lyrics, with a total lack of respect for everyone, and especially for themselves.

The group has released no fewer than thirteen albums, starting with the aptly titled *Pissed and Proud* in 1982, and culminating in *Fuctifano*, released in 2020, as their most recent production. But Peter and The Test Tube Babies remain, above all, a live band. For nearly fifty years, they have performed on every imaginable stage across the globe, from small, sold-out venues to the biggest festivals.

With the release of their new EP “Warm Ankle”, Pretty Much Average woke up late for work, with a nasty hangover and hazy memories of the night before. So they skipped breakfast, laid down a heavy bassline accompanied by a drum groove enhanced by a cowbell. They wrapped it all up with guitars packed with pitch-shifting, power chords, and semitones so the front-of-house girl could yell at her boss or the jerk who followed her home last night.
